SHS Math teacher pleads guilty
Souhegan High School math teach, Randy Floyd, pleaded guilty to one charge of theft by unauthorized taking and was sentenced to 90 days of suspended jail time. The other two misdemeanor charges of theft were dropped as part of Floyd’s plea deal.

Souhegan board member pleads guilty and resigns
Souhegan Cooperative School Board member, Dana Redmond of Amherst, resigned in a letter dating June 28, 2010 citing “personal reasons”. This comes after pleading guilty to two Class A misdemeanors for using a false prescription to obtain Percocet, a controlled substance, from the Costco pharmacy in Nashua.

School officials confronted about yearbook decision

Last night parents and citizens of Amherst and Mont Vernon were invited to discuss the yearbook controversy with members of the school board.
